Buffalo County court questions should go to the office that holds the case. The County Court and District Court use different clerks, although both are at the Kearney courthouse. JUSTICE is the state case-information route, while a clerk handles court-specific confirmation and copy requests. This contact page identifies the current public contacts from the county and Judicial Branch sources.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This private reference resource cannot obtain a record, alter a date, seal a case, issue a certified copy, or provide legal advice. Direct those requests to the court that holds the case.

  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: search by party name or case number through Case Lookup.
  • A case file: use Court Record Search and contact the clerk for the court level shown by the case.
